Explore Denali National Park on a Natural History Tour, watching for glimpses of Denali and Denali's "Big Five": moose, bears, caribou, Dall sheep, and wolves. Later today, you may want to simply relax with a glass of wine on the deck overlooking the Nenana River. Visit the Grizzly Burger or grab a slice at Lynx Creek Pizza.

This morning, journey by motorcoach to Fairbanks, the "Golden Heart City". The remainder of the day is yours to explore the area.
Day 11 - Saturday - Jul 13, 2024
A full day in Fairbanks gives you time to get a feel for the unique culture and history of the region. You'll take a cruise on an authentic sternwheeler riverboat down the Chena River, then enjoy a Gold Dredge No.8 tour with the chance to pan for your own gold. A hearty miner's lunch is included. The evening is at leisure.

Take in final views of the mountains, perhaps over a leisurely cup of coffee, before you transfer via motorcoach to Anchorage. This is Alaska's most cosmopolitan city, so get out and explore the shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions. Overnight at the Hotel Captain Cook.
